Wayne studied physiotherapy in New Zealand and on graduating went to work in a busy private practice treating predominantly sports injuries through his associations with local and representative rugby. Like all musculoskeletal clinics there was also plenty of patients suffering from back and neck problems, recovering from surgery or with general aches and pains.
After 3 years Wayne decided to broaden his horizons and travelled to UK, where he spent 2 years doing locum work in the NHS and travelling around Europe. It was during this time that he met his wife Annelies who is also a physiotherapist. In 2001 they moved to Milton Keynes to start jobs at the Blackberry Clinic and at the same time Wayne started working in Northampton at the Devon Parade Clinic which is where he met Christophe.
Wayne has developed the physiotherapy side of the practice over the years and also works a couple of days a week from their Stony Stratford Clinic in Milton Keynes. He has now moved his Northampton practice to The Maple Tree Clinic. Wayne continues to keep up to date with what is happening in the world of physiotherapy by regularly attending courses and conferences. While he still treats all musculo-skeletal injuries he has also developed an interest in treating dizziness and vertigo.
In his spare time Wayne likes to spend time with his family (he has a 4 and 6 year old to keep him on his toes), keep fit by going to the gym and running and when possible squeeze in a game of Golf.
